99th Percentile Caliber Coaching
If you poke around the minimal requirements for instructors at popular GMAT training providers, you will see that the threshold for those instructors' performance is significantly lower than 99th percentile. It's common sense that someone who has scored within the top 1% of all GMAT test-takers has a greater depth of understanding of a broader range of questions and problem types than typical instructors at those schools. Would you rather be coached by someone who has scored a 700 or a 770? It's that simple.
Personalized One-on-One Instruction
The feedback I often hear about typical GMAT review sessions at the popular training institutions, is that instructors simply follow "the book" published by that company, chapter by chapter. This is boring and ineffective. You don't need to pay someone to read out loud to you from a book which you can purchase for $25 online and skim in the comfort of your home. A couple of hours of concentrated study with me are infinitely more effective at raising your GMAT score and improving your test taking strategies than days of attending classes with the popular GMAT training services.
Best of Breed Study Resources
Since I am not tied to any firm, I will use the best-of-breed study materials to help improve your scores. I will suggest the best study materials with specific recommendations on how, when, and how often to study depending on your goals, strengths and weaknesses, and current scoring levels. Certain materials are perfect to shore-up your overall test-taking abilities, another set of materials is critical for propelling your score beyond 700, if you choose to pursue that level of GMAT performance.
I've Been There
Benefit from my experience. I've gone through all the steps you are going through or are planning to go through in the near future. I can provide you with advice for every step of the way or clarify questions which may help you better plan for what lies ahead in the process.
