FAQ

Search the FAQ:

Could you provide proof of your 770 (99th percentile) GMAT score?

Yes. Please contact me directly to obtain a screenshot of my official score report.

Could you provide references/testimonials about your services?

Why, certainly. You can find feedback and testimonials about my services on yelp.

Do you also conduct GMAT coaching sessions remotely?

Absolutely! I use the latest teleconferencing software to provide a complete classroom experience, which includes voice, video, desktop sharing, and whiteboard. Please contact me to find out more about how remote sessions are conducted.

How long is each session?

A typical session is 1.5 hours. However, I can adjust the session duration to one or two hours as needed.

How long will it take to reach my target score?

This depends on many things, including your current level of preparation, how high your target range is, and how diligently you will study. If you are new to the GMAT, 8-10 sessions may be appropriate; more practiced GMAT students may require only a few focused sessions.

My rule of thumb is: after about 8 weeks of intense practice you may begin to see diminishing returns; in other words, the bulk of your improvement will likely be achieved within about 8 weeks.

How often will we meet?

As often as you need to. For comprehensive preparation, weekly sessions are common.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

No -- we will meet for as many or as few hours as you need.

What do you guarantee?

I guarantee that you will gain useful explanations and advice which, if followed, will improve your GMAT performance. If at the end of our session you don?t feel satisfied with my instruction, I will gladly refund the full session amount.

What rates do you charge?

I charge an hourly rate. You can find the latest rates and promotions, here: tutoring rates.

Where and when can you meet with me?

I can meet you anywhere in the NYC metro area (ie, any of the 5 boroughs). For an additional fee, I can also meet you in parts of New Jersey and Long Island (contact me for specific locations).

I am available at most times during weekdays and weekends. Chances are that I will be able to find a time slot to accommodate your schedule.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

I am very flexible with regards to session locations and times; we can meet in my office, which is located near Madison Park in Manhattan, near your workplace, at your home, or at any other location in the NYC metro area which is most convenient for you.
